My 5 Star Review

I had the honor of reading an ARC of Tequila and Lace and let me tell you now, this is a book you don't want to miss out on. It is book two in the Saddles and Racks series and although it can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading Angels and Whiskey first because 1) that is when we first meet Paul Jackson and 2) in Tequila and Lace we get to catch up with Gabe and Autumn and see how they are doing.

With all of that being said, this might be one of my favorite KK books. I fell in love with both Paul and Joss in the prologue and my heart broke for them after reading of their traumatic pasts. This book touches some sensitive subjects and Kimberly handled them seamlessly with class. The witty and sexual banter between Joss and Paul is enough to keep a smile on your face throughout the story. The conflict driven plot will keep you engaged from start to finish, making this book seem to be a quick read. I loved the ending! Some may consider it to be a cliff hanger, but i just consider to be a set up for Seth's book, who you will love just as much as you do Paul.

My favorite part of the story was that I actually felt what the characters were feeling while reading their story. Watching them slowly open up to each other and eventually fall in love after all they have been through was amazing. This is, without a doubt, another 5 star hit from Kimberly. I strongly encourage you to pick up a copy of Tequila and Lace on release day or you can preorder your copy today!
