From WSJ Bestselling Author Ilsa Madden-Mills comes a new stand-alone contemporary romance.

Fake engaged to the hottest quarterback in the country? SCORE.

They say nothing compares to your first kiss,
But our first kiss was orchestrated for an audience.
Our second kiss . . . that one was REAL.
He cradled my face like he was terrified he’d f*ck it up.
He stared into my eyes until the air buzzed.
Soft and slow, full of sighs and little laughs,
He inhaled me like I was the finest Belgian chocolate,
And he’d never get another piece.
A nip of his teeth, his hand at my waist . . .
And I was lost.
I forgot he was paying me to be his fake fiancée.
I forgot we weren’t REAL.
Our kiss was pure magic, and before you laugh and say those kinds of kisses don’t exist,
Then you’ve never touched lips with Max Kent, the hottest quarterback in college history.

Three months. Two hearts. One fake engagement.

My 5 Star Review

5 Trophy Stars for this brilliant new adult, sports romance from Ilsa Madden Mills. I wanted something fun and sweet to read and Fake Fiance landed on my kindle. The perfect read for SuperBowl Sunday morning. There's no denying that Max Kent IS the only quarterback you need in your life.

We first meet Sunny and Max at 17 years old, both going through difficult times in their lives. A freak car accident is how Max and Sunny first met and ironically enough, that's how they met again 3 years later. Only this time is was one of Max's groupies that hit Sunny's car. She marched right over to Max's house and didn't car who he was. She wanted her car fixed. They have the same class so Max agrees to drive her to school. On the ride over they discovered that they had both been burned in the past.

Max has got it going on. He's sitting on top of the world and so close to winning the Heisman trophy he can taste it. But he can't have any negative attention. No fights with the team's other quarterback who would love nothing more than to see him fail, a psycho ex that wants him back, the groupies that just want a claim to fame. Football is his life and he needs to keep his eye on the prize. The last thing he needs is a distraction even if she is gorgeous and funny and he can't stop thinking about her. The idea of having a "fake girlfriend" seemed like the perfect idea to keep the ex and groupies away while giving him positive publicity. And that's where Sunny came in. She is my idol. Completely impervious to Max Kent's good looks and charm, she presents a challenge to him and keeps his ass in check.

With that being said, this fake engagement shouldn't be so hard. But what happens when lines get crossed and what was once for show becomes their reality? I can't tell you how much I loved this book. From the comical banter between Max and Sunny, the slow build of their relationship, the drama, the sex, and everything in between, Fake Fiance was easily a 5 star read. I will even go as far as saying that this is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE of Ilsa's books, and we all know how much I loved Very Bad Things. I will tell you that this one you don't want to miss!
