 My Review
5 Stars
Brooke Bradley was left to raise her 6 year old sister at the age of 13 when their mother decided that rich men were more important. She has always put others before herself, and that hasn’t changed in her adult life. She has been in a relationship with Jared, a needy and dependent guy, for the past 4 years. Things are comfortable between them.

Easton Crawford is no stranger to heartbreak. Being a single father to his 10 year old daughter Cheyenne and the owner of a busy bar in New York, his life revolves around work and Cheyenne. He doesn’t have the time or desire to do love. With his charming good looks and hot body, he has no problem getting what he needs from women. The women know its a one time thing and he never brings them home or around his daughter.

Brooke and Easton end up meeting on a cruise. Easton is there to hook up with hot chicks and Brooke received the trip as a birthday present....only she didn’t know it was a singles cruise. When Brooke and Easton meet, something happens to him. “The moment I saw her, I forgot about all of the possible hook-ups on the cruise. Her smile was like...her smile made my dick hard and my pulse race.”

Easton and Brooke spent most of the cruise together, getting to know one another on a personal, emotional level. While obviously physically attracted to one another, they didn’t act on these feelings....not with Jared waiting for Brooke at home. Over the course of the cruise the two realized that people are brought into our lives for a reason.

What happens when the cruise is over? Do they go back to their boring, comfortable lives without each other or will Brooke learn to finally put herself and her own happiness first? Will Easton learn that its okay to let love in? What happens when a visit to the doctor threatens to destroy their chance at a happy ever after?

This is a story of self growth, love, and forgiveness. This book made me laugh, made me swoon, and made me shed more tears than I care to admit. In my opinion, it is Kimberly's best book yet. I finished reading 3 days ago and I still find myself thinking of Brooke and Easton. It was easily a 5 star read for me!
