When your favorite author writes a story in your favorite genre, you just KNOW that it's going to be a hit. The Playbook delivers the best of both worlds... a swoon-worthy cowboy that's also a sexy, dirty talking, college football coach. Brett Owen's dirty mouth had me from page one and I couldn't get enough of him.

Audrey Cain is a spitfire herself. I loved her attitude and how she tackled her assignment headfirst. In a predominantly male driven career, Audrey wouldn't let anyone stop her from reaching her goal of sideline reporting for the NFL. Not even Brett Owens would get in her way.

As these two spend more time together, the sparks fly and the chemistry is undeniable. But a relationship with her "assignment" is out of the question.
