Cherished is the fourth book in the Wanted series, which is one of my top 3
favorite reading series. Cherished is the story of Jessie and
Scott, who we met earlier in the series.
I fell in love with them in Faithful
and was beyond excited when I learned that they would be getting their own
story.
Jessie
and Scott’s relationship hasn’t been an easy one. Jessie was in love with Scott for years but
after one kiss Scott ran from her….and his feelings. A few years later they have gotten back
together and all seems to be going well in the world of Jessie and Scott. When Scott’s ex-fiancé shows up and deceives
them all, things take a turn for the worse.
Jessie ends up heartbroken and she runs leaving Scott confused and
devastated.
By
the end of the first chapter I knew Kelly was going to take us on a
rollercoaster ride of emotions. Cherished had it’s LOL moments, especially
where Matthew was concerned. I love that
kid!!!!! I smiled, I laughed, I swooned,
and I most certainly shed some tears too.
This is a story of love, strength, hope, learning to forgive, and trust.
I
love the fact that Kelly uses multiple POV throughout the story. It really helps in keeping us connected to all
of the characters in the Wanted series.
This
book has it all; steamy romance (you get that from all of the characters, but
Heather & Josh….wow!), swoon worthy cowboys that every girl dreams of,
female characters that are so sweet that anyone would love to have one of them
as a best friend, the perfect amount of drama to keep the reader engrossed with
the story without overdoing it, and of course the HEA that we so desperately
crave.
I
have absolutely loved all of Kelly’s previous work and Cherished was no different.
Kelly’s writing ability has continued to impress me and I am very much
looking forward to reading Lark’s story.

Kelly is married to a wonderful Texas cowboy who
