When he learns a friend's sister is in trouble, former Boston MMA fighter Aiden

takes to not only reclaim the man he once was, but become the man he needs to be
for the woman he can't live without?

Review:

4.5-5 Stars

If you loved the first two books in the Fighting for Love series you will not be disappointed. Gina Maxwell writes amazing MMA characters that you easily fall in love with and want to know more about. She also has a talent to make you fall in love both her hero and heroine, which few authors can manage successfully. Book three is slightly darker than the first two but it is equally addictive.

Thanks to her ex Kat aka Sydney is in trouble, her ex is in prison leaving Kat to deal with his mess, a big mess. Thinking she has no way to solve the situation her ex created, she runs to the tiny town of Alabaster in Louisiana. In the middle of nowhere Kat starts working at a local bar to try and save some money to get her out of this mess. For the first time ever she is on her own living her life "her way", she's not answering to a man. She is staying away from men, all they have done is ruin her and they just cause trouble in her life.

Aiden 'Irish' O'Brien comes into the tiny town in the middle of nowhere looking for Kat. It didn't take long to find her and straight away he was captivated by her beauty. He has an overwhelming urge to protect her and shield her from pain. His mind drifts to how she would smell, what it would feel like to touch her, to……no he couldn't think like that, he wasn’t here for his own pleasure, was
here because he owed Jax. Vanessa, Jax's fiancĂ© just happens to be Kat's big sister, who is constantly worried for her younger sibling. Vanessa has tried her hardest to help Kat, but not wanting to ruin her Vanessa’s life or have her involved in this mess, Kat rarely speaks to her.

Irish is in town to keep an eye on Kat and to try and find out what sort of trouble she is in and why she ran from her home. Irish is an ex MMA fighter who gave up professional fighting after tragic events that happened five years ago. He has never forgiven himself when he fights, those he loves get hurt, he won't
do that again.

Kat and Aiden both have painful pasts but can opening up to one another help them deal with their demons and move on? Neither of them think they deserve happiness but what happens when these two broken souls come together and learn to open up to another person...

There is a lot of sexual tension between this sexy, colorful, tattooed fighter and Kat and when they finally get together they end up dealing with Kat's broken past and putting her back together. She also ironically aids his recovery.

The first kiss scene brought a tear to my eye. I felt like I could easily imagine watching this on the big screen with a box of tissues

"When I finally got to kiss you... God, I think I lost myself to you right then and there. I never expected to feel so much. A big part of me died a long time ago, but one kiss from you and it started coming back"

"Symbols of the Blue Topaz: loyalty, honesty, clarity of feelings, eternal romance and love"

Kat's past catches up with her but not before Irish steps in and takes care of the problem, well makes a deal! While Kat thinks she is free, Irish does the one thing he swore he would never do, he goes back to fighting. He needs to win the competition his friend Xander is currently competing in. It’s the only thing he
can do to clear Kat from her past.

When Kat's learns who Irish is and how he knows her she is hurt and angry. She pushes him away. Are the lies enough to tear them apart?

Then she learns of the fight……

"Tomorrow night, Murphy, I'm going to fight for what I want, and what I want is Aiden 'Irish' O'Brien Forever"

Can Kat and Aiden share their painful pasts with each other, help each other get past and deal with the things that have broken them? Can they learn to realize that they do deserve the love of one another? Or will Kat's past keep them part and destroy all that they have tried to mend?

This is a must read, you will laugh, you will maybe shed a tear but I guarantee one thing…..You will love it!
