Dominic Powers. His name says it all. he is a rich, powerful, successful business man who is in control of all things. Sofia walks into the interview with Dominic for the position of his personal assistant. The chemistry between them is immediate. Sofia is a natural submissive, though she's had some training from a not so great Dom. And Dominic is a dom, but hasn't acted as one in well over a year since a tragic accident left him doubting himself. When these two take their relationship past the point of professional boy do the pages heat up!
I loved this book for many reasons, but i think what i loved most about this book was the portrayal of the D/S relationship. I loved how Dominic was fiercely protective and caring, taking hi time to build up Sofia's trust. Being that this book is told from Dominic's POV, we get a unique look into the dynamics of a d/s relationship from the dom's eyes, which is a refreshing change.
This book is hot, sexy, and suspenseful, guaranteed to leave you in a state of shock. Yes...there is a major cliffhanger that I did not see coming! I literally sat there shaking my head saying no way. Have no fear though, book two;s release date isn't that far away and I will be anxiously waiting for it in the meantime.
